Day 1, Sunday 12th of May 2019
We met at 6 p.m. in front of the school. There we said„goodbye“ to our parents. Teoman‘s uncle drove us to the Airport in Hamburg. From there we flew to Edinburgh. There we took a bus to the Haymarket stop. Then we went to our apartment, where the landlady showed us the flat. At 1a.m. we went to bed.

Day 2, Monday 13th of May 2019
We woke up early in the morning. Milan, Mr. Prang and I went to the grocery store and bought some food for breakfast. After breakfast we cleaned the kitchen and the table. Then we looked for the tourist information to did a Hop-on-Hop-off bus tour. We went on a red double-decker bus. We were given headphones to listen the history of Edinburgh. At one station we went off the bus and walked down the street. We saw the ocean from there. We walked tot he end of the street until a mountain (Arthur’s seat). There we went hiking. The view from the highest point was beautiful. We saw the city, the ocean and the mountains. When we were down again, we bought drinks because it was so hot and we didn´t take water with us. We waited for the bus to go back to our flat. Before we arrived our apartment, we went to the grocery store and bought self-made-pizza for the evening. At home we prepared it. After we cleaned up, we spoke about the day and then we went to bed.

Day 3, Tuesday 14th of May
I will never forget the trip to Scotland and for that I would like to say thank you. It was a great trip with good friends and the best teacher ever. The second day was a beautiful beach day but the sea was very cold. We went swimming at least for a couple of minutes. We walked for hours along the beach and had an ice-cream at the end of the day we were watching the sun set. The view was unforgettable. All in all, I am very grateful for this the experience.

Day 4, Wednesday 15th of May
We woke up at 5:45am. We took a train to Balloch and another one up to the Highlands.
When we arrived there, we went to a tourist information office. We got a map of the Highlands from them. It was like 10:30 a.m. when we started hiking.We hiked a part of the West Highland Way up to the Conic Hill. When we reached the summit we stayed up there and had lunch. After about 30min we walked down the mountain and enjoyed the sun
while waiting for the bus.The bus brought us back to Balloch and then we took a train back to Haymarket.

Day 5, Thursday 16th of May
We woke up early in the morning at 7:00 a.m. and got dressed . At 8:00 a.m. we had breakfast together in the living room. After that we cleaned up the Airbnb-flat, so that we could leave the flat to go to the railway station at “Hay Market”. From there we took a double-decker bus to the airport. When we arrived in Bremen our parents were already waiting for us and we gave a thank-you-present to our best teacher, who gave us the chance to discover Scotland.
